LOS ANGELES WORKSHOP 2023 BOUFFON 1 (6 days total) Description Below. JANUARY 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29 Saturdays 4-8 PM Sundays 2:30-6:30. PM LOCATION: HOLLYWOOD DANCE CENTER 817 N HIGHLAND AVE, Los Angeles, CA 90038 NOTE: COVID POLICY. Participants will need to show proof of vaccination. CANCELLATION POLICY If you need to cancel for any reason, deposits are not refunded. However, you can book another workshop within a 2 year period from the beginning of the said course using your deposit. One rebooking will be allowed. Imagine a wild-eyed pack of outsiders. These outsiders have ecstatic pleasure to mock anything and everything. Ridiculous, mischievous, confronting and poetic, these tricksters ride the line between comic fun and uncomfortable truth. In this class, students will discover the attitude and spirit of the Bouffon through: - Ensemble play & Complicity - Choral work - Finding the fun in becoming and mocking - Navigating rich thematic territories. - Discovering hot spots that make the audience say “ouch!"
